4 X 4 Pride is a gay men and woman's off road group located in the greater San Diego area and dedicated to monthly trail runs in and around Southern California and Baja. People usually meet around 8:00 a.m.the last Saturday (odd Months) or Sunday (even Months) of each month behind Trader Joe's, next to Ralph's Supermarket (see maps) in the Uptown Plaza on University Avenue in Hillcrest. After receiving last minute directions and updates, the group will leave at 8:30 sharp and convoy out to the day's trail head or secondary meeting location. Each vehicle owner is responsible for his or her own vehicle including safety equipment, a first aid box towing gear, be fully gassed and oiled for the run. Appropriate clothing is also suggested for the anticipated weather at the run site. Please bring your lunch, snacks, sports drinks/water, and sunscreen with you for some short hikes and the lunch break that we usually take around noon.
